Construction is underway on Highway 16 twinning southeast of Saskatoon to Clavet.

The project will include the construction of 19.5 kilometres of new twinned highway. In addition, a bypass north of the Village of Clavet is being constructed which includes approximately 7 km of new highway for both lanes, and the construction of a CN railway crossing.

This project will improve safety and efficiency for travellers. It will also support the economic growth of Saskatchewan, in particular the agricultural sector, by providing better access to one of the largest canola crush facilities in Canada.
